Materials

Engineered particleboard

Particleboard is a wood-based product, made by a special technique of pressing wood chips under high pressure and temperature with the addition of glue. The wood chips are first specially prepared by drying and sorting.

Particleboard is pressed into larger pallets and pressed in different thicknesses. Particleboard is the basic product for all further products in the refining process (e.g. making worktops).

Particleboard manufacturers available in our offer are:

Kronospan               See available colors here

Kastamonu              See available colors here

Acryl

Merceza offers high-gloss panels applied to chipboard as a carrier material, so that the final product is of high quality, and at a price very acceptable to a wide range of customers.

In addition, Merceza offers high-gloss Acryl applied to MDF panels, which has the characteristics of the highest gloss with a mirror effect, because the acrylic mass is applied to MDF, which is finer and flatter, but also less porous than chipboard, so the surface is more stable and the gloss effect is greater.

High gloss particleboard

New in the Merceze offer – chipboard in a high-gloss finish! These chipboards are finished on both sides with melamine resin in a high-gloss finish.  They come coated with a transparent protective film that is removed from the product only after processing and assembly.  In addition to the chipboard decors, the offer also includes 1 mm thick ABS edge bands in the same decors so that each element can be edged in the same color.

Varnished plywood

Mediapan (Midimum Densiti Fiber...) boards are medium density fiberboards, homogeneous in thickness, produced from shredded hardwood with minimal addition of binder. The density throughout the thickness makes them suitable for milling, which makes them widely used as a substitute for solid wood. Low porosity in the cross section is also used in varnishing, which further increases the use of MDF in furniture production, primarily for fronts of various shapes. MDF has also found wide application as a load-bearing material in veneering and in general in finishing with veneer, laminates, foil, etc.

Available in colors according to the RAL chart.
